Food intolerance can be the result of your body's reaction to certain foods. Although it is a non-life-threatening reaction, food intolerance is associated with various unpleasant and often unexplained symptoms. Symptoms can last for days or even weeks and are often interrupted, so it can be difficult to identify what types of foods are causing problems that can occur as:

Research has shown that food intolerance is linked to immune system antibodies when we eat certain foods. With the test we recognize the a 'problematic' type of food and it can be separated from the diet, which also leads to an improvement in symptoms.

The minimum recommended age for the food intolerance test is 2 years. However, it is recommended that subsequent dietary changes be made in collaboration with a pediatrician and our specialist.

The difference between food allergy and food intolerance

Food allergies trigger an immediate response with IgE antibodies, which is reflected in symptoms such as skin rashes, sneezing, breathing problems, etc. Food intolerance, however, is a delayed response with IgG antibodies and symptoms that occur 3 days after food ingestion. This makes it difficult to identify the cause.

Food intolerance test is performed in the BIOLAB laboratory. Results can be available to you within 1 day or by agreement. We test on over 220 different types of food.

In addition to the test results, we also offer additional professional interpretation of the results and individual consultation on dietary changes in collaboration with a professional advisor.
